Low-Temperature Label Roll Supply Project for Italian Food Enterprise
Published On: March 25, 2026
Italy is an important food processing and exporting country in Europe, with strict requirements for food label safety and compliance. Frozen food labels must comply with EU food contact material regulations.
The client is a Milan-based frozen pasta manufacturer exporting to multiple European countries. Original labels became brittle and broke at -18°C freezing temperatures, preventing barcode scanning and affecting warehousing and logistics efficiency.
Customized 80g/m² synthetic PP label rolls with freezer-grade adhesive, maintaining flexibility in the -30°C to 60°C range. Used thermal transfer technology with resin-based ribbons, producing low-temperature and moisture-resistant printed images. Labels passed EU 10/2011 food contact material certification.
The client confirmed new labels remained intact in frozen storage and cold chain transport, with scanning success rates near 100%. The labels' grease resistance also met practical requirements for Italian pasta product packaging.
Addressing the special environment of frozen foods, we provided compliant, reliable label solutions ensuring smooth client supply chain operations.
